6/17 Details of the optionally timed section of Gibraltar Road for Century riders have been posted (see "Timing" on the Century page.)
6/4 Policy established for changing your ride from Century to Metric Century or vice versa. Until September 1 you can do either of these freely via email to the race sponsors. If you want to change from the Century ride to the Metric Century ride after September 1 you can do so (up to the start of the event and even during the event itself), but it is possible that there would not be a finisher award immediately available at the end of the ride and that it would have to be sent to you several weeks later via mail (with a shipping fee). The above also applies to changing from the Metric Century ride to the Century ride except that this can only be done before the start of the ride (part-way through you can't decide you're feeling strong and want to change to the longer Century ride).
4/23 Fastrack and Prolong are now sponsors of the ride.
4/6 Hotel Santa Barbara selected as site for registration pickup on Friday before the ride. For details click here.
3/31 Minor course changes made to eliminate a traffic hazard (the section of East Camino Cielo from Painted Cave Road to San Marcos Pass was dropped, and Gobernador Canyon in Carpinteria was added). Total elevation gain for the Century is now 9600' (measured by Garmin GPS) and for the Metric Century is now 3800'.
3/31 Facebook site added for the event. We encourage Facebook users to sign on as "Like" so as to receive updates about the event that will be posted. Click here.
